Ducey is 15 km away and is home to the Montgommery chateau and the gardens which are very worth a view. A small supermarket is to be found here, as are a couple of banks (with ATM), a pizzeria, creperie, an excellent restaurant specialising in seafood, and a couple of bars.

For those who like walking, take a leisurely stroll along the River Sélune . An English speaking Doctor is also based in a surgery in Ducey. Market day is Tuesday.
